We practise exclusively in the areas of Family Law and Succession Law.

The position

We are currently offering a part-time (2-3 days a week) permanent Legal Assistant position in our Client Care Team in Brisbane City. We have two roles available. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking person. A candidate must be a Law Student, a PLT or a Law Graduate.

This role would suit a 2nd or 3rd-year law student and has the potential to evolve into a long-term career with Genuine Legal.

As a Legal Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Reception duties, calls & bookings;
  • Client care work;
  • Assisting Solicitors with legal work, drafting documents, collating disclosure etc.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

  • Attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Can work effectively under pressure;
  • Prioritisation and time management skills;
  • A positive attitude;
  • High academic achievements would be advantageous;
