We practise exclusively in the areas of Family Law and Succession Law.
The positionWe are currently offering a part-time (2-3 days a week) permanent Legal Assistant position in our Client Care Team in Brisbane City. We have two roles available. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking person. A candidate must be a Law Student, a PLT or a Law Graduate.
This role would suit a 2nd or 3rd-year law student and has the potential to evolve into a long-term career with Genuine Legal.
As a Legal Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Reception duties, calls & bookings;
- Client care work;
- Assisting Solicitors with legal work, drafting documents, collating disclosure etc.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Can work effectively under pressure;
- Prioritisation and time management skills;
- A positive attitude;
- High academic achievements would be advantageous;
