is a boutique Brisbane-based law firm specialising in commercial disputes, building & construction, and insolvency law. We pride ourselves on delivering clear, practical legal solutions for our clients while maintaining a supportive and collaborative workplace.

We are seeking a
Legal Secretary / Assistant
to join our growing team. This role will provide direct support to the Managing Director as well as one of our lawyers in the day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Diary and email management, including scheduling and coordinating client meetings.
  2. Answering and directing telephone calls.
  3. Preparing and opening new client files.
  4. Issuing trust account receipts.
  5. Dictation transcription and document formatting.
  6. Drafting and preparing correspondence and legal documents.
  7. Filing, both electronic and paper-based, and maintaining accurate records.
  8. General administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

About You

We encourage applicants of all levels of experience to apply. Ideally, you will have:

  1. Previous experience in a legal secretary, assistant, or administrative role (law firm experience desirable but not essential).
  2. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. A professional and proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  5. Confidence in using Microsoft Office and an ability to quickly learn new software systems.
