About the Role

We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Townsville-based team on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week). You will be part of a small, highly talented team dedicated to delivering high-quality environmental services.

This role is a key support position that will evolve over time, offering opportunities to shape your responsibilities and grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide administrative and project support to Client Managers across the full project lifecycle from proposal to completion.

· Coordinate and prepare tender submissions to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

· Review, format, and collaborate on fee proposals, reports, and other key client documents.

· Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

· Coordinate detailed travel itineraries for business-related activities.

· Support staff with day-to-day administrative needs to enable them to perform effectively.

· Manage and update the company's website and LinkedIn presence, including content planning to showcase achievements and strengthen brand visibility.

· Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and contractors to maintain strong relationships.

· Oversee company vehicles, including bookings, servicing, and maintenance.

· Offer guidance and support to drive continuous improvements in productivity, systems, and business growth.

· Maintain and update training and WHS records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, productivity, and business growth.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.

· A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop, and help shape the role.
