Based in Rockfield's Townsville office, the HR & Business Support Administrator plays a key role in supporting our people-focused environment and helping our teams grow and succeed. This role also contributes to broader business support and office administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the company.


What you'll do

  • Provide timely and confidential HR administrative support across the team.
  • Administer and maintain accurate employee records, correspondence, and documentation to support effective HR operations.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination.
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain HR and business operation systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data and records.
  • Coordinate and support day-to-day administrative and operational activities to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Help deliver engagement, wellbeing, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive, organised, and people-centred HR function.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in HR, administration, or office support (ideally in a professional services setting), or a genuine interest in developing a career in HR and business administration with the right guidance and mentoring.
  • A sound understanding of Fair Work, NES, and Modern Awards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document and data management.
  • Confidence using HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a people-first mindset.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and genuine interest in people and culture.
  • The ability to work in Australia with full working rights.
