About the roleWhat you'll do
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction and best practices
  • Recruit, mentor and retain Chapter members supporting career growth and performance management
  • Drive team performance to meet strategic goals, targets, and budget requirements
  • Enable continuous delivery and automation practices to enhance delivery speed and efficiency
  • Works with cross functional team members to deliver low latency platforms and services
  • Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management
What you'll bring
  • 8 years in technology, including 4 years in leadership roles
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and engage technology professionals
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and client-side technologies such as React, , JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with cloud development, including AWS/Lamdba
  • Solid understanding of TDD, including JUnit and mocking frameworks
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices (Gradle/Maven, Jenkins) and version control (Git)
