Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Guidewire ClaimsCentre, a leading platform for claims processing. As a strong Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with delivery teams to develop solutions that meet business and customer needs.

You will work closely with the squad/project members to identify, capture, plan, and deliver changes. Additionally, you will mentor/train team members and participate in business analyst chapter forums providing insights and thought leadership.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Analysis Chapter, which supports medium to large-scale programs across the organization. You will be part of a dynamic team of 200 like-minded analysts who share knowledge and best practices through masterclasses and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:
  • Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs
  • Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable
  • Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery
  • Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience with Guidewire ClaimsCentre
  • Minimum 5 years technical business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role from a large organisation
  • Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines
