• Strategic and tailored advice on complex procurement and contract management matters,
• Leadership and support across the full procurement lifecycle — from approach to market, evaluation, and negotiation, through to contract execution and ongoing management, and
• Guidance on risk management, procurement strategy, negotiation planning, and compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and other relevant frameworks.

About our Procurement Team

Callida's Procurement and Contract Management practice specialises in delivering strategic, high quality advice and support to government procurement projects, contract and vendor management, as well as commercial and financial procurement related advice.

We provide tailored advice to support our clients through the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. We deliver strategic procurement and contract management expertise to help our clients achieve value for money outcomes and ensure compliance with legislative frameworks.

Who We Are Looking For

Callida's procurement team is growing, and we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced procurement and contract management professionals to join our team.

We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated and driven and thrive in a face-paced team environment. To be considered for this opportunity, your experiences, qualifications and skills should include the following:

• A strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, including connected and related policies and frameworks,
• Experience across the full procurement lifecycle — from strategy and planning, tender development and evaluation, through to negotiation, contract establishment, and contract management,
• Experience leading small teams to achieve defined outcomes,
• An ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and clients,
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with both qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and a keen attention to detail,
• Ability to think both strategically and creatively to deliver exceptional client service,
• Self-motivated and confident with the ability to influence and guide clients effectively,
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders,
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues, and
• A growth mindset — curious, open to challenges, and committed to continuous learning.

As a firm specialising in consulting for government, we do require candidates to be Australian Citizens in order to obtain a government security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
