Position Description

We are looking for a motivated
Procurement Consultant
to join our team and support a wide range of procurement and sourcing activities for our government clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of procurement experience who is ready to step up into a role where they'll gain exposure to diverse ICT and professional services projects, while working in a supportive and client-focused environment.

In this role, you'll work alongside senior consultants and client stakeholders to
deliver end-to-end procurement activities
—from requirements gathering and market approaches (RFQ/RFT/RFx) through to vendor engagement, evaluation, and contract preparation. You'll manage ICT procurement in line with government frameworks, liaise directly with vendors to source quotes and documentation, and ensure procurement records are maintained in compliance with
Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
and internal policies. You'll also play a part in driving process improvements and ensuring value-for-money outcomes for our clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience contributing to or leading RFT/RFQ/RFx processes, ideally in the public sector
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and how to apply them
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor engagement skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships
  • Procurement qualifications or equivalent practical experience
  • A client service mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to software contracts is desirable but not essential

This role requires
Australian citizenship
and a Federal Government Security Clearance .
