One of Australia's prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Procurement and Contracts Officer **to support the team with the Procurement and Contract Management of their digital services. You will also look after end-to-end Procurement across the branch for software, personnel and services. The role will be based in **Canberra** with the successful **Procurement and Contracts Officer **to be offered a **12-month contract + 12-month extension option.**

The successful** Procurement and Contracts Officer **will be responsible for the below:

- Facilitating the drafting and completion of spending proposals and contract documentation
- Uploading and managing submissions across whole of Government procurement
- Providing specialist advise and practical guidance to the branch
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Procurement and Contract Management processes in consultation with key stakeholders

The successful **Procurement and Contracts Officer **will have experience in the following:

- Relevant experience in ICT Procurement and/or Contract Management
- Demonstrated experience in managing a high workload with excellent attention to detail
- Qualifications in Procurement or Contract management
- Understanding of Agile framework methodology
