We have been a leader in our industry for over 55 years and we are now looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual to effectively administer a range of tasks for our Victorian Commercial Furniture team.

The Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to take on a busy role, which in turn creates possibilities to build a successful career within Schiavello. We see the administration function as the entry point to a variety of career pathways including corporate services, sales and operational positions.

Under the guidance and training of an experienced Team Leader, you will become responsible for:

  • Effectively administering and assembling all job registration activities and job files;
  • Work closely with Site Managers to ensure a smooth and professional project delivery;
  • Issuing, reviewing and checking purchase orders in accordance with company standards;
  • Maintain job costs and invoicing in line with company policy;
  • Ensuring that our quality, safety and environmental standards are consistently applied and maintained;
  • Communicating both verbally and in written form to clients, managers and fellow colleagues;
  • Working proactively within your team and the broader business to support accuracy, effectiveness and a great client experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong administration skills are a must;
  • Completion of year 12 as a minimum (a Business Degree is highly desirable);
  • Exposure to a customer orientated environment;
  • Demonstrated Intermediate computer literacy with Office 365 and ideally use of other digital business systems;
  • A commitment to excellent and professional customer service;
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multi-task;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders;
  • A positive & can do attitude;
  • An interest in workplace furniture, premium design and the built space.
