This role would suit someone who enjoys being active and getting out and visiting customer sites, and who enjoys a challenge and has an eye for detail. Someone who is looking to develop their all-round customer service skills in a unique and exciting market with a market leader, and is available for an immediate start. The Company

G.O. Shelving is the largest and most reputable provider of 'Total Storage Solutions' in South Australia and, one of the largest in Australia. Well established for over 40 years, G.O. Shelving have been responsible for the majority of the largest pallet racking and storage projects in South Australia.

The Role

As a valuable member of the team, you will:

  • Support and grow a large customer base throughout South Australia
  • Provide superior service to, and consult with customers to achieve their requirements
  • Gather and collate information on customers sites and provide simple reports to customers
  • Follow up reports with customers
  • Arrange site visits to determine and assist with customers requirements
  • Represent the company fairly and honestly in a way that will result in ongoing development and enhancement of customer relations
  • Collaborate with the other members of the Sales, Marketing and Operations Teams to ensure that customer expectations are met

To be successful in this role, you will need to be energetic, positive, a team player and disciplined in your approach

Skills and Experience:

  • Some experience and understanding of industrial and commercial industries
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long term customer relationships
  • Not essential, but some product knowledge and technical aptitude (possibly previous experience in a similar industry or with similar products) would be considered an advantage, but is not essential as extensive training will be provided
  • Ability to read/interpret simple drawings/site plans
  • Basic experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook,  Excel and Word
  • The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work autonomously but most importantly, as part of a team
  • Current South Australian drivers licence essential
