Content & Editorial Executive

Location: Bondi Junction - Hybrid

For over 60 years, we've been the world's leading travel brand for 18-35s, connecting curious adventurers with unforgettable moments across the globe.

The Role

We're on the hunt for a Content & Editorial Executive to be the voice behind the stories that move Gen Z to travel. From scroll-stopping captions to long-form features, you'll craft content that's bold, culturally relevant and impossible to ignore.

Reporting to our Senior Global Creative Content Manager, you'll collaborate across marketing, creative, social, SEO and design teams to make sure every piece of content not only looks great but performs. This is a role for a creative storyteller who can balance big ideas with sharp editorial judgement.

What You'll Do

  • Write smart, original content for blogs, emails, websites, paid ads, and video scripts.
  • Edit and proof content from internal teams and freelancers, ensuring it's always on tone.
  • Develop story angles that reflect Contiki's purpose, brand, and Gen Z audience.
  • Shape and support the editorial calendar around campaigns, launches, and cultural moments.
  • Optimise content for SEO, UX, and digital best practices.
  • Collaborate with social, SEO, CRM, and performance teams to deliver high-impact campaigns.
  • Be a guardian of Contiki's tone of voice, evolving guidelines as youth culture moves.

What Success Looks Like

  • 3 months in: You're creating content that nails Contiki's tone and vibe.
  • 6 months in: You're helping shape content strategy across campaigns and channels.
  • 12 months in: You're driving measurable impact

What You Bring

  • 3+ years experience writing and editing (editorial, brand content, or copywriting).
  • A portfolio that shows range: witty headlines, persuasive copy, and long-form editorial.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, content performance metrics and digital best practice.
  • CMS experience (WordPress or Contentful preferred).
  • Sharp editorial judgement and obsession with detail.
  • Passion for youth culture, digital trends, and global travel.
