is the official social club of the Brisbane Lions based in Springwood. Our venue offers over 200 state of the art gaming machines, TAB facilities, our Cage Bar with plenty of TVs for the sport fans, the 5th Quarter Restaurant with an incredible variety of meals to suit everyone and an enclosed kids area.

We are on the lookout for a reliable and proactive individual to join the team as our Maintenance Officer.

As our Maintenance Officer, you'll be responsible for;

  • Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting tasks
  • Routine maintenance
  • Respond quickly to maintenance issues and emergencies
  • Perform regular checks on fixtures, fittings, and equipment
  • Keep outdoor areas tidy and safe (patio, beer garden, car park)
  • Some stock movement
  • Liaise with management and external contractors when needed
  • Knowledge of beer line systems, and beer line cleaning would be of benefit
  • Cleanliness and Safety of Venue
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar Maintenance role
  • Forklift license
  • Current RSA and RSG or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to work in and lead teams
  • Be a problem solver with an ability to make decisions on the go
  • Ability to work a range of shifts throughout a 7-day a week roster, including weekends
