About the Role

We're seeking a Data Governance Analyst to play a key technical role within the Data Governance Office. This contract role focuses on Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and requires hands-on expertise in Data Governance (DG) and Data Quality (DQ) implementation and optimisation. You'll support the rollout and configuration of governance tools, helping to operationalise enterprise data policies and standards across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and administering data governance platforms (particularly Informatica IDMC) - managing user roles, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Building and maintaining data quality rules, scorecards, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborating with Data Stewards and Custodians to design scalable governance structures and quality frameworks.
  • Supporting onboarding of new domains into the governance ecosystem.
  • Documenting governance procedures, standards, and configuration practices for transparency and repeatability.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You'll bring a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience across data governance and data quality platforms, ideally within Informatica IDMC.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Proven experience working with Informatica IDMC, focusing on DG and DQ configuration.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, workflow automation, and data lineage.
  • Familiarity with data architecture and cross-domain data integration concepts.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to working across technical and business teams.
  • Broader experience with areas like AI governance or Information Protection (e.g., Microsoft Purview) would be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Certification in Informatica or a related data governance tool (advantageous).
