Data Analyst

About the role:

We're seeking a Data Analyst to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable analytics that inform both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic priorities.

You'll be the go-to for extracting and translating data and will use your Power BI expertise to help position Aviation Australia as the aviation and aerospace centre of excellence for learning and development in both the Australian and international markets.

Is this role for you?

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a data analytics role and hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data models in Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric lakehouse architecture to support data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate data from multiple sources into a single dataset to enable analysis and interpretation that provide meaningful insights.
• Sound understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Ability to work with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver relevant reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and an advocate of self-service data enablement – helping others to learn how to access, explore, and use data independently.
• Willingness to learn, grow and undertake training as required.
