Data Analyst

Talenza's client is looking for a Data Analyst with strong Power BI and SQL experience - someone to design impactful dashboards, explore data with SQL, and help drive data literacy across the organisation.

Location: Brisbane, 2 days WFH

Employment Type: contract, 6 months + extension

Your role:

  • Gather and document reporting requirements from stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX and Power Query.
  • Use SQL for data exploration, validation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate on data models (star/snowflake) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Document processes, definitions, and reporting logic.
  • Deliver user training and support to promote self-service BI and data literacy.

Ideal Background:

  • Advanced Power BI features (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals...)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Requirements management, documentation
  • user training.
