About the role

Reporting directly to the Director, this role is the backbone of our head office. You'll be responsible for managing accounts and administration functions to ensure the smooth and timely running of daily business operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and is confident working in a small, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and debtor follow-ups

  • Reconcile accounts and ensure all payments and statements are accurate and on time

  • Maintain financial records and liaise with our accountant/bookkeeper as needed

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Director (scheduling, correspondence, documentation)

  • Coordinate office operations, supplies, and general administration

  • Support payroll and staff records management

  • Maintain compliance documentation and assist with reporting as required

  • Assist IT department,

  • Ensure all office duties are completed

  • Will be responsible office runs smoothly

  • Ensuring all employees are adhering to company policies

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–4 years' experience in a similar Office Manager or Senior Administrator role

  • Strong background in accounts administration, debtor collection and invoicing

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation

  • Highly organised with strong time management skills

  • Proactive and reliable — able to work independently and anticipate needs

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, approachable manner

  • Confident using Xero or similar accounting software

  • General construction or property industry knowledge (desirable but not essential)

  • Good Finance knowledge background

  • Would suit Finance Broker Background
