Bunbury, Western Australia Hearth House Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Location: Bunbury (primary) with occasional Busselton support

Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri), 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

About the role

Be the friendly first impression and the digital voice of Hearth House South West. You'll run reception, keep our website and socials fresh with short videos and persuasive copy, and help us roll out practical AI tools as we build Hearth House HQ.

What you'll do

  • Reception & customer care

  • Greet walk-ins, answer phones professionally, and capture complete lead details before fast handover to Sales.

  • Manage basic appointment confirmations/reschedules and keep the front-of-house tidy and welcoming.

  • Website & SEO (WordPress)

  • Add, update and remove products with flawless attention to detail (pricing, specs, images, alt-text, internal links, categories).

  • Publish weekly Google Business updates and keep store info current.

  • Social media & content (Facebook/Instagram)

  • Plan and post a consistent cadence (2–3 posts/week + stories) aligned with seasons, promotions, and installations.

  • Shoot short vertical videos (phone is fine), write engaging hooks and captions, and repurpose supplier/installer content.

  • Track basic performance and iterate to drive enquiries.

  • Merchandising & showroom presentation

  • Refresh displays, signage, and pricing; rotate in new ranges and promptly retire deleted lines, ensuring in-store mirrors align with online offerings.

  • AI & HQ support

  • Utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, caption generators, transcription tools) to draft posts, refine copy, and create simple templates/checklists.

  • Help document simple "how-to" guides and repeatable workflows as part of Hearth House HQ.

You'll thrive here if you have

  • Confident and warm front-of-house manner, with clear phone etiquette.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and fast, accurate computer skills.
  • Strong copywriting for web/social (benefits, hooks, clear CTAs).
  • Comfortable filming/editing short videos (CapCut, Premiere Rush or similar).
  • WordPress, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) experience (or quick learner).
  • Bonus: basic SEO, retail/trades/showroom experience, interest in homes/renovation, heating/cooling or outdoor living.
