Your role
Assisting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes and in the community.
- Assisting with personal care, such as showering, getting dressed, oral care, personal grooming, conduct daily tasks, and household chores such as laundry and cooking.
- Providing social support and companionship to individuals with disabilities and those recovering from mental health disorders such as social outings.
- Assisting those with physical and psycho-social difficulties to stay independent in their own homes while helping to build confidence and life skill.
- Assisting with light housework, such as vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
- Help with cooking and doing dishes, planning meals, and grocery shopping.
- Driving clients and running errands.
- Help people get out and about in the community.
- Help people get to and from appointments, fill out paperwork, and apply for other supports like social housing, employment, or other entitlements.
- Reviewing and revising care support plans.
- Be a part of the Passion Aid Care team by supporting clients and fellow support workers
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $29.00 – $43.00 per hour
Experience:
- Mental Disability related: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- National Police Certificate (Required)
- Driver Licence (Required)
- Children Check/ WWVP Card - "Yes" to NDIS activities (Required)
- NDIS worker's orientation module certificate? (Required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Required)
Work Location: In person
