Job Overview

The Community Development Manager plays a vital role in leading a team of Support Workers and Volunteers to deliver quality services that support clients to stay independent in their own homes and connected to their local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to foster strong and professional relationships with clients and their circle of support
  • Coordinate services to help navigate relevant support based on individual client needs
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality services that meet the needs of clients

This is a permanent full-time role, requiring strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for social change.

What We Are Looking For
  • Tertiary or Diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as Social Services, Health, Business
  • Two or more years' experience in supervising a team and nurturing them through ambiguity and change
  • Experience in the Social Services and/or Health environment
  • Significant understanding of client needs to convert into positive service delivery outcomes
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills with the client at the centre
  • Effective collaboration and partnership skills
  • Strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using multiple computer applications and willingness to learn new systems/programs
  • First Aid Certificate and current driver's licence
