We are currently recruiting for a motivated Digital Transformation Lead with engineering experience in the past to join the Melbourne office of our client — a wholesale company embarking on a company-wide digital transformation. This newly created role will be instrumental in driving strategic IT initiatives, modernising core systems, and enabling operational excellence across the business.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of the IT transformation roadmap, manage complex system integration projects, and work closely with both executive stakeholders and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across multiple departments
  • Manage end-to-end system integration projects (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions
  • Provide hands-on support throughout implementation, change management, and user enablement
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to ensure successful delivery

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in IT transformation, consulting, or enterprise system delivery
  • Strong project management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Background in IT consulting, IT services, or similar industries
  • Prior hands-on engineering or technical experience
  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans
  • Experience working with executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to operate across both strategic and operational levels
