The General Manager – Operations is a key leadership role responsible for driving the performance, efficiency, and scalability of the company's operations - overseeing production, warehousing, logistics, procurement, and project delivery, ensuring a best-in-class operating model that supports the growth agenda. This role plays a central part in shaping transformation following recent change of ownership. It requires a leader who can balance hands-on operational oversight with strategic execution—embedding structure, accountability, and cultural alignment while optimising end-to-end processes. The GM Operations will work cross-functionally to ensure service excellence servicing a blue-chip client base spanning transport, retail, QSR, and infrastructure sectors.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate a high level of maturity and experience in their ability to establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the business. You will be a self-starter, who demonstrates initiative, presents solutions not problems and requires minimal management and oversite by the CEO. To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of light industrial manufacturing processes and principles, as well as experience with manufacturing-related technologies and tools. With demonstrated leadership capability in manufacturing or operations management, shortlisted candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced, 'job-shop' or bespoke manufacturing environment where deadlines, service levels and quality are critical. Experience within a private/family-owned organization that has gone through a substantial growth phase, ideally involving the integration of acquisitions will be highly regarded.
