About the Role
We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our wholesale partners and mechanical network across Australia. In this role, you'll be the face of Carinspect to wholesale buyers, mechanics, and industry partners: onboarding new accounts, strengthening relationships, and driving revenue growth.

What You'll Be Doing
- Onboard Wholesale Partners: Identify, approach, and bring new wholesale partners, finance companies, fleet companies and auto partners into the Carinspect network.
- Build network of Automotive mechanics: Identify, approach, and bring new mobile and workshop mechanics into the Carinspect network.
- Build Relationships: Manage and nurture long-term partnerships, resolving queries and ensuring a smooth onboarding journey.
- Understand Needs: Engage in real conversations with wholesale partners and mechanics, uncovering pain points and delivering tailored solutions.
- Grow the Network: Work with wholesale partners and mechanics to unlock new opportunities, expand reach, and increase inspection volumes.
- Shape Strategy: Provide valuable market insights to product and leadership teams to influence Carinspect's growth.
- Sell with Conviction: Clearly communicate the benefits of partnering with Carinspect, building trust and buy-in from decision-makers.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years' experience in business development, partnerships, or account management (automotive or dealer industry experience highly advantageous).
- Solid understanding of the used car ecosystem, dealership operations and wholesale automotive buying process.
- Exceptional relationship-building and commercial communication skills.
- Confident in presenting, negotiating, and influencing at all levels.
- Existing dealer/finance/fleet relationships a big plus, with the ability to quickly build new ones.
- Proven track record of growing accounts and hitting sales targets.
- Personable, solutions-focused, and motivated to succeed.
