The Opportunity - As CIO, you will:

  • Lead the Investment Department and develop NSL's investment framework and strategy.
  • Optimise portfolio returns within approved risk limits.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Drive people development, succession planning, and a high-performance culture.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive management team, contributing to vision, policy, and strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (post-graduate qualifications such as CFA, CA/CPA are an advantage).
  • At least 10 years' management experience in superannuation, banking, or financial services, with a track record in managing multi-asset portfolios.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to good governance, compliance, and member outcomes.
