MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Officer. This is a permanent full-time role as a Level 4.

A Finance Officer works in a dynamic and fast-paced school environment that requires a proactive, school service focused person who thrives working in a team. As a highly skilled administrator, the SSO performs the day-to-day administrative tasks, together with the SSSO they will work as a team to be the 'face' of the school for members of the school community.

Specific Criteria

  • Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Ability to demonstrate a 'customer-focused' approach
  • Be highly organised and show attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in a busy, dynamic office setting
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 suite (especially Word, Publisher and Excel)
  • Experience with Google Chrome Applications
  • Sound knowledge of accounting concepts and principles, supported by bookkeeping/accounting experience and an ability to understand Financial Reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in TechOne, Receipting, Compass, SAS will be highly advantageous
