The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join us and support our Finance & Administration Manager. This is a varied role where you'll be across everything from financial reporting to payroll, BAS, accounts receivable/payable and inventory.

It's ideal for someone with a few years' experience who's ready to step up, take ownership, and grow their career in an international business environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly financial and sales reports, and assist with forecasts
  • Manage customer invoicing, supplier payments, and reconciliations
  • Process payroll and superannuation
  • Assist with BAS, audits, and year-end compliance
  • Maintain the general ledger and inventory records
  • Liaise with both local stakeholders and head office in Germany

About You

  • Degree qualified (or working towards) in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • 2–5 years' accounting experience, ideally with exposure to payroll and monthly reporting
  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys working independently but thrives in a small team
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn
  • Competent user of MYOB
