Project Administrator

This role will suit someone with mid-level project administration experience who is looking to grow their career within Project Administration.


About APD Global

At APD, we deliver engineering and design solutions to power utilities, electricity generation developers, and the mining and resources sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Our team of over 400 professionals operates from 15 offices throughout the APAC region.

Our services encompass extra high voltage transmission grids, power distribution networks, and consumer-end electric supply facilities. We also offer customised, integrated solutions for protection system design, automation, control and communication, all tailored to our clients' needs.

About your new role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an energetic and motivated Project Administrator to join our expanding Telco Team. This role will provide general administrative and project support and will be based in our Perth Office located in the CBD. Your role will cover the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project and administrative support to the project team and department leaders.
  • Assist with the planning and scheduling project tasks, milestones and deadlines.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including contracts, variations orders, internal and external correspondence & technical documentation.
  • Ensure all project related documentation is organised, easily accessible and up to date.
  • Monitor project progress and report key metrics to the project team and department leaders.
  • Take an active role in the continuous improvement and innovation of project administration systems and processes.
  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required for successful delivery of the project.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Robust communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
  • Professionalism in handling confidential documentation and estimates.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a project support role is preferred.
