The role
The Asset Standards Engineer is accountable for the development, management and coordination of water and wastewater infrastructure related standards and provides support in defining the data collected, analysed and stored in Gippsland Water's asset, geospatial and document management systems.
In consultation with the Senior Asset Engineering Leader, the Asset Standards Engineer will lead the implementation of improvements to asset management processes and plans with respect to relevant standards.
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Experience in a technical field relating to the management of infrastructure assets
- Ability in delivering innovative solutions in relation to project outcomes
- Experience with engineering standards, industry codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
