We're seeking a Location Manager for our funeral services business supporting sites across in the ACT region. Whether you're an emerging leader ready to take the next step, or an experienced manager looking for a meaningful new challenge, we want to hear from you.
You will lead teams across our dual-branded locations for Tobin Brothers and White Lady Funerals-both leading brands under InvoCare, a recognised industry leader in funeral services. We currently operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and we are growing.
As a Location Manager, you'll be the face of our business-engaging with families, supporting your team, and representing our brand at community events and functions. You'll drive operational excellence, foster a sense of belonging, and help us maintain our reputation as the leading funeral services provider in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team, ensuring high standards of care and service
- Support your team with arranging and conducting funeral services, providing compassionate support to families
- Build strong relationships with local community groups, attend events, and champion our brand
- Drive local area marketing initiatives and promote our services as the provider of choice
- Manage site operations, budgets, and ensure compliance with company standards
- Foster a culture of teamwork, ownership, and customer-centricity.
About you:
- Experience managing in a service-focused environment (such as retail, hospitality or community services), or a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly
- Commercial awareness, with a track record of meeting financial targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine passion for engaging with and giving back to the community
- Ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team, fostering a positive and proud workplace culture
- Feel comfortable supporting grieving families, respecting their values and beliefs
- At ease in an environment where you may be in the presence of the deceased
- Strong administrative and computer skills, with attention to detail
- Hold an unrestricted driver's license.
