General Manager – Education-Focused SME (Victoria)

Are you ready to step into a leadership role with a growing private equity–backed business? We're looking for a driven and entrepreneurial leader to take charge of an established and expanding multisite education-focused business in Victoria.

This is a rare opportunity to combine your background in education, operations, or business leadership with the chance to shape and scale a business at the forefront of its sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading day-to-day operations and driving growth across multiple sites
  • Building and mentoring a strong team of educators and support staff
  • Working closely with private equity partners to deliver on strategic goals
  • Overseeing performance, customer satisfaction, and business expansion

About you:

  • Experience in education sector (e.g. schools, tutoring), training, or related services (or a strong interest in the sector). A well grounded understanding of the school system would be highly regarded.
  • Leadership or management experience, ideally in a small to medium sized business
  • Entrepreneurial drive and willingness to get into the detail, as it will be an independant (tho supported) and hands on role to scale the business
  • Strong relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders
  • Likely suits professional someone who is looking to take the next step into a higher level of ownership
