About the role
  • Customer interactions: The first point of contact for new and existing customers, handling product inquiries face to face and via phone and email.
  • Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service, offering tailored advice to Commercial, Trade and Retail customers alike.
  • On-site Inspections: Join the team conducting on-site inspections and repairs, involves some intra and inter- state travel.
  • Repairs and Accessories: Assist repair workshop (as required) with ladder repairs and accessorty fitting (using hand tools). Assemble orders for dispatch.
  • Sales Development: Identify and engage with new sales external opportunities, following a professional approach from quote presentation to conversion
  • Stock Management: Assist with the forecasting and ordering of products based on expected sales.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, and due to the high interaction and collaboration required within and across the teams, this position is based 5 days onsite and is available for an immediate start.

About you

Experience in sales or customer service is required, preferrably in industrial or trade products.

High level of mechanical aptitude, comfortable using basic tools and equipment

Moderate IT skills are required and experience with MYOB is an advantage.

Previous experience in on-site measurement and quoting, preferably in a technical role.

Flexible attitude to work, keen to learn, with a high attention to detail.

This is a diverse and active role and requires a physically fit individual, who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty.

Fork Lift License desirable. Training provided
