About the role

As part of our continued growth and focus on delivering quality service to our customers, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Account Manager - VIC|TAS, the Service Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of Technicians and Sub Contractors with support from direct reports (Team Leaders and Service Coordinators). The Service Manager will play a pivotal role with a key focus and oversee the planning, rostering, job scheduling to ensure that services are delivered to the clients efficiently and in line with legislative and client contractual requirements. The Service Manager will achieve this through the safe and effective deployment of human resources ensuring that all work carried out meets Precise Air Group's Safety, Quality & Customer Standards to achieve the overall business plans and objectives.

A minimum of 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience is required for this position.

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Highly preferred to be from Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry or similar.
  • An ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound financial understanding.
  • Understanding and ability to manage high volume, KPI driven customers
  • Develop long standing relationships with your customers and team members
  • Ensure technician productivity and efficiency is maximized through effective planning and scheduling of the team.
  • Champion all operational business processes that affect direct reports (Service Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Technicians).
  • Drive accountability and transparency amongst team members for quality.
  • Responsible for ensuring focus from the team on following streamlined and efficient processes consistent with company agreed operating procedures.
  • To effectively manage administrative requirements including operational reports.
  • HVAC or trade technical knowledge preferred.
  • Current Driver License
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position.
  • A trade qualification is the minimum education level required for this role.
