We are a specialist, award winning, structural and civil engineering firm with contracts for residential, industrial and commercial projects throughout south east to central Queensland and north New South Wales. Our office is in Southport. We are seeking an experienced and detail orientated Contracts Administrator to support our projects from tender to project completion.

Skills and Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a contract administrator or similar role within the construction industry is preferred,

Understanding of head contracts, subcontracts and management of all facets of the process

Attention to detail and proactive time management skills

Knowledge of local council laws within Queensland and New South Wales

A qualification that is relevant, diploma or higher

Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the director and liaising with contractors across all phases. The position involves managing engagement, contractors, cost control, progress claims, council and other parties throughout the process.

· Preparing proposals, contracts and/or variations to contracts and responding to issues that arise

· Making submissions and dealing with the relevant authorities and councils

· Oversee and ensure coordination between procurement schedules, contractors and subcontracts, progress and defects in accordance with contract requirements

· Cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting in line with project budgets

· Overseas quality and compliance with regulations/laws of engineering projects

· Ensure deadlines and time frames are achieved

· Support efficient handover
