  • Long-term Engagement ( 21 Months contract + 12 months extension options)

FinXL is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Officer to provide crucial first and second-level support for a secure and robust IT infrastructure. This long-term engagement requires a keen focus on rapid issue resolution, maintaining security compliance, and ensuring the continued functionality of essential services in a sensitive operational environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance assistance across the following core areas:

  • User Support: Serving as a primary point of contact for technical issues related to computer hardware (desktops, servers) and various operating software platforms.
  • Network Assistance: Assisting with troubleshooting and support for issues concerning wide area networks (WANs) and local area networks (LANs) connectivity.
  • Core Service Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to essential services, including internet, file, print, electronic mail, and scheduling services.
  • Access Management: Supporting the administration of user access to specified Applications and database Software.
  • Systems Maintenance: Assisting senior staff with network and systems management tasks, and ensuring routine checks for data backup and recovery services are completed.
Desirable
  • Defence Sector Experience is Highly Desirable: Prior, hands-on experience working within the Australian Defence environment or similar highly regulated government/security environments will be a significant advantage.
