Your New Role
As an Administration/Customer Service Officer, you'll be a key member of the Customer Service team, acting as the first point of contact for a wide range of enquiries. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Responding to phone, email, and face-to-face enquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Providing accurate information to employers regarding their obligations under portable long service leave legislation.
  • Assisting construction workers with their entitlements, ensuring every interaction is helpful and respectful.
  • Managing correspondence and maintaining accurate records in line with organisational policies.
  • Reviewing and processing long service leave claims, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.
  • Liaising with employers and workers to gather additional information when needed to support claim assessments.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in administration and/or customer service, ideally within a regulatory or not-for-profit environment.
  • Previous Claims experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer focus.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Confidence in interpreting and applying legislation or policy guidelines.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills, with a commitment to service standards and compliance.
