About Us:

Docklands Health is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our passionate and friendly team. The position is approximately 35 hours per week.

Our team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Massage therapists, Pilates instructors, psychologists etc, are dedicated to enhancing people's lives by improving their health and motivating them to take steps toward living a full and active life. This position will require you to not only perform front desk reception duties but also provide exceptional service to our patients, helping bring health care to our local community. The ability to develop a genuine rapport with people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, is essential.

The successful applicant will be bright, well presented, an excellent communicator, and value health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and establish positive relationships with patients.
  • Handle telephone inquiries efficiently and confidently.
  • Process payments using HICAPS/EFTPOS.
  • Schedule appointments and forward patients' recommended care plans & exercises.
  • Assist the team with general tasks.
  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and calm demeanour in a sometimes-busy environment.
  • Utilise general computer skills for various tasks.
  • Maintaining office presentation.

A professional phone manner with excellent communication skills.

The ability to multitask effectively to keep operations running smoothly, as our practice can get busy with lots of people visiting our clinic.

Capacity to remain calm in busy situations.

Computer skills are essential, and training will be provided regarding our clinic software.

Can be flexible with the hours of work.
