The Company:

RTR is an Independent Engineering Steel Supply Consultancy, specialising in Steels for Temperature, Corrosion and Erosion Resistant Applications.

We operate out of branches in Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Australia, with the newest Melbourne based branch opened in April 2019.

RTR works with leading Utilities, Engineering and Refining Companies across the globe and are looking for an experienced professional to join our Melbourne CBD office.

The role is a Part Time position, primarily office based, providing Administrative support to the team.

The Person:

You are an individual with strong communication skills and an appreciation of the importance of company processes, with a high level of organisation.

A strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential as you contribute to the overall success of the global organisation.

You are a self-reliant, responsible and a problem-solving individual, you enjoy providing support as part of a Team.

Experience gained in a role with suitable industry knowledge will be an advantage but not essential.

The Role:

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring progress of projects with colleagues and supply chain partners.
  • Logistics and logistics documentation preparation.
  • Preparation of quotations, tenders, purchase orders, order confirmations, and invoices.
  • Assistance in and implementation of marketing campaigns and sales strategies
  • Bookkeeping / Accounting
  • Administration / Filing

Salary:   Competitive, Negotiable based on experience

Hours:   Part Time, to be agreed

Office hours: Mon – Thursday 8.15am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.15am – 3.15pm
