Human Habitats is a multi-disciplinary practice providing exceptional services across Town Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture with offices in Melbourne, Wangaratta and Brisbane. We are looking for an Office Administrator to support our team with Accounts and Personnel tasks.
The Role:
Based in the office, we are looking to fill a part time role to support the Business & Operations Manager. We are looking for a confident individual, with a mature manner who can add to a fun culture. If you're looking to step into a fast-paced environment, this opportunity can provide a long-term career, taking on more responsibility as you go.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and receipt management to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with activities related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.
- Prepare and send customer statements regularly.
- Assist with reception duties and hosting client meetings.
- Assist with maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with production of reports for staff performance.
Experience, skills, and other requirements:
- Previous experience in supporting accounts.
- Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling company finances.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work part-time hours over 5 days.
