Duties

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support our depot operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient freight management processes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and exceptional communication across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and promote a strong safety culture across all operational activities.
  • Investigate and resolve missing or damaged freight enquiries, maintaining effective communication with branches and ensuring located freight is delivered promptly.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to proactively minimise freight discrepancies and damage incidents.
  • Manage and resolve outstanding freight queries, including preparing discrepancy reports and providing photographic documentation when required.
  • Oversee the re-packing of damaged freight to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate freight re-directions and returns efficiently to support customer satisfaction and limit DIFOT impacts.
  • Maintain high levels of scanning accuracy and data integrity across all freight movements.
  • Provide back-up support for key depot roles during breaks or staff absences to ensure continuous operational coverage.

About You

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to liaise across multiple departments.
  • Previous experience in transport, warehousing, or administrative support roles (preferred).
  • Confident in working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Commitment to upholding workplace safety and operational excellence.

  • Sound geographical knowledge of Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

  • Willing to undertake a Police Check and Drug and Alcohol test.
