Greenock Construction is a locally owned business with a broad range of experience across all areas of construction, from new builds to fit-outs and refurbishments. As a successful small-medium sized Construction Company we provide a vast range of services across the Residential and Commercial construction sectors.
Our small team is rapidly growing with exciting new clients and projects, we are on the hunt for an experienced Contract Administrator.
About the Role
As a Contract Administrator, your key responsibility will be to assist in the safe, profitable, and high-quality delivery of multiple projects in a timely manner. This role provides an opportunity for career progression, with a focus on work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from pre-construction to handover and defect liability.
- Participate in design and site coordination meetings as needed.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with building specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct tender interviews, subcontractor negotiations, and contract letting.
- Manage the financial aspects of the projects.
- Prepare detailed programs and reports, including monthly updates.
About you:
- Formal qualifications in Contracts Administration, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience in a similar role
- High organisational and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database keeping
- Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Works well within a team environment and autonomously
