FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR – Hamilton Island, Reef View Hotel

The Reef View Hotel is Hamilton Island's leading 4 star hotel offering lovely spacious rooms with some of the most spectacular views over the Coral Sea. We have a current vacancy for an experienced Front Office Supervisor to work closely with the Front Office management team and be responsible for the smooth running of the Front Office department whilst ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.

Where you'll make an impact

  • Supervising the operations of the front office/reception area
  • Responding to guests requests, enquiries & complaints
  • Overseeing the management of ledgers, house accounts & late charges
  • Assisting in overseeing and managing room allocations & check-in
  • Managing efficient & effective communication systems

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Excellent and natural communication
  • Previous 12 months experience in this role within a Hotel or a Resort Guest Services within a 4-5 star International Hotel
  • Confidence in leading the team in the absence of the manager
  • A passion for service delivery
  • Self motivated and confident in taking the initiative
  • Excellent presentation skills
