TOUR DESK SUPERVISOR – Hamilton Island
Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and leading a team to success? We're looking for a Tour Desk Supervisor to join our vibrant Hamilton Island team. In this role, you'll support the Tour Desk Manager in the day-to-day running of our Tour Desks, ensuring every guest enjoys seamless, memorable experiences while driving team performance and maintaining the highest standards of service.

- Motivate and coach your team to achieve sales targets while creating fun, engaging and memorable customer interactions
- Build strong connections with tour providers and activity operators, ensuring our information is always accurate, helpful and up to date
- Play a hands-on role in onboarding, training and developing staff, helping them grow and succeed in their roles
- Prepare rosters, manage staffing needs and keep an eye on wage costs to ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Take ownership of reporting, assist with month-end processes and maintain high standards in cash handling
- Keep our marketing and guest information channels (apps, website, boards, live chat, email) fresh, engaging and on point
What We're Looking For
You're a natural leader who genuinely loves people and thrives on creating exceptional customer experiences. You know how to ask the right questions, uncover what guests really want, and ensure your team delivers it every time.
You're confident guiding others, staying calm under pressure, and handling challenges with professionalism and care. Super organised and detail-focused, you set the standard for your team and lead by example. With strong communication and negotiation skills – both written and verbal – you're able to connect with guests, motivate staff, and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the island.
Perhaps you've been a Supervisor, Travel Agent, Tour Manager, or Hotel Concierge and are now ready to take the next step into leadership, or you're already in a supervisory role and want to grow your career in a unique island environment.
To be successful, you'll need- Loves working with people and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences
- Brings experience leading or supervising a team – whether in hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service
- Enjoys motivating others and has a natural ability to inspire a team to reach shared goals
- Communicates with warmth, clarity, and professionalism, and builds genuine connections with both guests and colleagues
- Stays calm, adaptable, and organised even when things get busy
- Presents yourself with confidence and positivity, setting a great example for your team
- Ideally has a background in travel, tourism or hospitality – but if you're a strong leader with excellent customer service skills, we'll provide all the training you need
