Adelaide, South Australia Department for Infrastructure and Transport Full time

Job reference: 706227

Location: Adelaide CBD

Job status: Ongoing appointment

Eligibility: Open to Everyone

MAS3 $127,859 pa + superannuation

At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city's public transport network.

Our work encompasses every part of our State; from our cities to our regions, connecting and strengthening community. We value diversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration, flexibility, and support for our people.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of South Australia's most critical digital service systems - TRUMPS (Transport Regulation User Management Processing System) - the engine behind millions of customer transactions every year. As the Senior Manager, TRUMPS Programs and Projects, you'll play a key role in shaping how Service SA delivers seamless, secure, and reliable services to the community.

You'll lead a talented, multidisciplinary team driving innovation and excellence across system enhancements and major projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders and partner agencies, you'll ensure our technology solutions continue to evolve and deliver great customer outcomes.

This role is ideal for a strategic and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using technology to improve public service delivery. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team and have the opportunity to make a real impact across the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) and beyond.

About you

You're someone who takes the lead and makes things happen. You think ahead, act quickly when needed, and take responsibility for the outcomes.

You enjoy working with people and know how to bring teams together. You're good at breaking down barriers and helping everyone move in the same direction to get the job done.

You're always looking for better ways to do things - open to new ideas, and not afraid of thinking outside the box if it means improving how we deliver services.

When change comes, you stay calm and supportive. You understand that change can be challenging, and you help others navigate it with confidence and care.

Qualifications and Education

A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
