This is a superb opportunity for a wills/estates/succession lawyer (with around least 3-5 years PAE) who has a desire to join a down to earth, commercially focussed firm.

Working directly with a friendly and approachable Special Counsel (who has been earmarked for promotion to Partnership in the next six months) the Succession team will be rapidly expanding over the next couple of years.  This means that there is a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to quickly progress through to a Senior Associate level in the next 12-24 months.

Working in this agile and technology focussed firm, it will be a pleasure to walk into their modern and inviting offices (based in one of Brisbane's iconic towers). 

The firm are also geared up (and have always been very happy) to accomodate candidates who need flexibility in their working week.  Whether that would be benefitting from WFH options a couple of days of the week (or just working around the rush hour traffic) providing the clients are well serviced, it does not matter to the firm where you are sat.

What is required?The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years PAE experience and will ideally have gained experience in some of the following wills/estates areas:

  • Asset protection for future generations advice
  • Business succession planning
  • Estate planning, including testamentary trust wills
  • Estate administration (specifically crisis management in business)
  • Estate litigation
  • Enduring powers of attorney
  • Special disability trusts
  • Superannuation and binding death benefit nominations
