We represent one of Australia's premier and largest law firms.

In recent years the firm has strategically grown to reflect their clients' national demands by making a number of key lateral partner hires from rival major law firms.

As one of the top law firms in Australia, they have established deep relationships with an impressive list of clients in a range of industries including IP, energy and resources, real estate, technology, telecommunications and government.

The Team

The Digital and IP team specialise in maximising intellectual property value through robust protection and strategic management, they cater to diverse clients from startups to established ASX listed companies and government institutions across various sectors.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced
Lawyer or Senior Associate
to join the national team in
Brisbane
.

This role will see you will work with diverse clients including a number of leading financial institutions, large telecommunication companies, public sector entities, resource and utility companies, blue chip corporates and start-ups.

You will be exposed to a variety of quality matters and transactions, such as outsourcing and managed services agreements, major IT procurements, as-a-service arrangements, and technology commercialisation and digitisation initiatives.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience working in a front-end commercial TMT practice, ideally within a mid to large commercial firm. Additionally, you will need:

  • Excellent drafting and technical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong problem solving skill
  • A keen interest in technology matters
  • An ability to work well both autonomously and as a part of a close-knit team
