What you'll be doing

In this role you'll be supporting vital clinical research initiatives across WSLHD, ensuring studies are compliant, efficient and ethically sound.

  • Managing start-up and oversight activities
  • Supporting participant recruiting
  • Coordinating study monitoring
  • Ensuring data reporting accuracy
  • Driving quality improvement planning

Selection Criteria:

  • Degree in a related science or health care discipline and/or equivalent relevant pharmaceutical Clinical Trials Site experience.
  • Experience managing all aspects of pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials and investigator clinical research.
  • Well-developed analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of hospital information systems relevant to clinical trials and research.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously as a member of a multidisciplinary team and also to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate and work well with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify discrepancies and risks quickly.
  • Strong project management and financial management skills.
  • Experience or willing to obtain skills in standard clinical assessment techniques (e.g. vital signs, ECG, venepuncture and laboratory techniques (processing of samples e.g. blood and urine).
