Join our Technology team as an Executive Assistant to both the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer - Kmart & Target.In this role, you'll provide high-quality, professional support, while assisting the wider team as needed. You'll play a key role in helping our leaders stay organised, focused, and connected — ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes in line with Kmart Group's values.

You'll bring demonstrated experience as a trusted Executive or C-Suite Assistant within a large or complex organisation. You'll have exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the professionalism to confidently engage with senior stakeholders across the business.

You're someone who remains calm under pressure, exercises sound judgment, and maintains absolute discretion at all times. Most importantly, you can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and deliver with care and consistency.

What you'll be doing

As an Executive Assistant working for Kmart Group you will:

  • Managing both the CIO's and CISO's diary, including scheduling appointments, meetings and functions.
  • Coordinating the CIO's and CISO's requirements for upcoming meetings.
  • Ensure the CIO's and CISO's is suitably prepared (provision of team briefs and associated meeting paperwork).
  • Assistance with the preparation of agendas, presentations, reports and papers, recording of minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Promptly manage correspondence including emails, phone calls and mail, coordinating and responding on behalf of both the CIO and CISO as required.
  • Arrange travel itineraries interstate as well as internationally to our Global Capability Centre in Bangalore. Organising accommodation, and logistics for CIO's and CISO, and other executives as required.
  • Manage and reconcile corporate credit cards, petty cash reimbursements and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Prioritise internal and external requests to the CIO's and CISO, providing a centralised contact point to manage requests for approvals/feedback/meetings.
  • Manage budgets and spreadsheets, tracking functional spend in a cost-effective and timely manner ensuring in line with budget.
  • Ensure a high standard of service is maintained and enhanced across all levels of communications.
  • Represent both the CIO's and CISO internally and externally by displaying a friendly, responsive, courteous and effective interaction.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills, with great time management skills. Having previous retail experience and being able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment is favourable.

  • Prior and proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting dual executive level roles, including General Manager and C-Suite level executives.
  • Experience in complex and fast-paced corporate environments.
  • A high level of attention to detail with exceptional communication and organisational capability.
  • Be calm, perform well under pressure and be able to manage competing and diverse priorities to achieve deadlines.
  • The highest levels of integrity and professionalism with an ability to exercise discretion in managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to be curious, show initiative and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
  • Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors is desirable.
