Mazda Australia is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take charge of our Technical Services team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the planning, deployment, and compliance of national service campaigns—including recalls, reworks, and technical bulletins—ensuring excellence in customer support and regulatory alignment.

This role requires in-office presence
five days
a week, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of all Technical Service Campaigns ensuring compliance with Mazda Australia, government, and industry regulations.
  • Oversee the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme (MVIS) compliance and other legislative requirements.
  • Develop strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and technical repair communication to dealers and internal teams.
  • Liaise and negotiate with Mazda Corporation and external stakeholders to secure support for campaign activities.
  • Monitor vehicle issue reports and guide timely resolutions.
  • Manage market readiness for vehicle launches and lifecycle support, aligning resources with departmental KPIs.
  • Provide expert advice and performance updates to Executive Leadership on campaign progress and escalated matters.

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • 10+ years in an Automotive OEM environment
  • 5+ years in team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of Australian automotive regulations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
