Who are we?

Soltaro is a global solar battery manufacturer that was founded in 2016 in Melbourne Australia and has now grown to have partners in over 20 countries. We are one of only a few solar battery manufacturers that produce our own inverters, batteries and software to make our battery systems "Smart". With the aggressive push from many countries to reach net zero targets as soon as 2030, the need for smart solar battery technology is a must.

What are we after?

We are seeking a highly motivated warehouse operator to assist our warehouse operations in Tullamarine - Melbourne. This is a full-time role from 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Picking and packing orders

· Loading and unloading trucks with a counter-balance forklift

· Unloading containers with a counter-balance forklift

· Unloading containers by hand (occasionally)

· Weekly stock take

· Adhering to strict OH&S policy and procedures

· Maintain a clean and functional warehouse

Experience and Skills:

· Must have a current forklift license

· Forklift experience will be seen as an advantage

· The position involves manual handling

· Basic computer skills

· Be highly organized, highly motivated and have good time management skills

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Knowledge of the solar industry and solar components will be seen as an advantage
