We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator/Operations Coordinator to join our team at Tullamarine.

Global Specialised Services is Australia’s leading fine art freight forwarder that began operation in 1998 to service Australia’s major fine art galleries and museums.

**The Role**

**Basic responsibilities**:

- General freight forwarding/warehouse administration duties (Cargowise)
- Management of all warehouse operations
- Loading & unloading of trucks
- Receipt and documentation of all inbound/outbound cargo
- Forklift Operations
- Adherence to OH&S requirements
- General warehouse duties
- Other duties where required such as local pickups/deliveries, etc.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, 2-3 years’ experience highly regarded
- Forklift experience
- Reliability is a must
- Knowledge of aviation security and the requirements of an Air Cargo Agent (training provided)
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to allow for some manual lifting
- Ability to follow a dynamic schedule
- Infrequent after hours and weekend work required, overtime rates offered for all out of hours work

**Licenses**
- Current LF Forklift License will be highly regarded
- Current Australian Driver’s License (manual) & own transport
- Current ASIC advantageous but not a requirement

**To be successful in this role applicants need to have**:

- Physically fit and capable of performing the manual aspects of the role
- Good presentation
- Attention to Detail
- A national police check will be undertaken for successful applicants
- Australian citizen or permanent resident visa for work purposes


**Salary**: Up to $75,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tullamarine, VIC 3043: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse/freight forwarding: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
